Facts about your Epipremnum Pinnatum
The Epipremnum Pinnatum originates from the small island of Mo'orea, which is part of the French Polynesian Society Islands. It gets the nickname Devil’s Ivy due to how difficult it is to kill the Epipremnum Pinnatum, it can even survive for a while with no light. Unlike other plants with variegated leaves your Epipremnum Pinnatum will hold its two tone colour even when it isn’t getting enough light.
Caring for your Epipremnum Pinnatum
Light - Your Epipremnum Pinnatum prefers dappled light without much direct sunlight. It can also survive in low light conditions.
Water - Your Epipremnum Pinnatum will want watering roughly once a week, wait for the top part of the soil to dry out before you water it again. Your Epipremnum Pinnatum doesn't like having soggy roots so water regularly in small amounts, and if possible water from the bottom.
Top Tip - If you would like your plant to grow into a bushier and wider shape rather than long vines then trim just below a leaf and this will help shape your plant. If you like those long vines just let it grow!
