Also known as: Marble Queen, Marble Queen Pothos, Pothos Vine, Devil's Ivy, Ivy Arum and Scindapsus, Variegated Pothos

The Marble Queen Pothos (Epipremnum Pinnatum or Pothos) is near impossible to kill - making it our number one choice for first-time plant owners! It has beautiful variegated foliage, is fast growing and doesn’t mind low light conditions.

The length of the plants’ vines is approximately 10-20cm. The nursery pot diameter is 12cm. All plants come in their nursery pots, ceramic pots are sold separately.

Keep this plant out of reach of little hands and pet's paws.

Facts about your Marble Queen Pothos, Epipremnum Pinnatum

The Marble Queen Pothos, Epipremnum Pinnatum originates from the small island of Mo'orea, which is part of the French Polynesian Society Islands. It gets the nickname Devil’s Ivy due to how difficult it is to kill - it can even survive for a while with no light. Unlike other plants with variegated leaves your Epipremnum Pinnatum will hold its two tone colour even when it isn’t getting enough light.

Caring for your Marble Queen Pothos, Epipremnum Pinnatum

Light - Prefers dappled light without much direct sunlight.

Water - Water roughly once a week, wait for the top part of the soil to dry out before you water it. This plant doesn't like having soggy roots so water regularly in small amounts (preferably from the bottom).

Top Tip - If you would like your plant to grow into a bushier and wider shape, trim just below a leaf. If you like those long vines just let it grow!

This plant is air purifying.

All our plants come with a physical care card, you can also see more information about how to look after your plant and our handy infographic care guides on our plant care page.

Our Green Packaging.

When you buy a plant from Canopy Plants you can be sure we have done our very best to keep your purchase green. Our packaging is sustainably sourced and 100% recyclable or compostable.

All our paper and card is recycled and sustainably sourced.

It wouldn’t be right to be cutting down trees to sell plants!

We don’t use any single use plastic.

When we send your plant to you the pot and roots will be wrapped in a bag that looks like it is made of plastic - it is actually a totally compostable potato starch bag! You can put it in your council compost bin. They are also suitable for home composting.

For fragile items we use potato starch protective peanuts, just wash them down the sink!

Peat free.

We only use peat free compost at our studio. 60% to 70% of our plants are grown in peat free compost and we are pushing to get that to 100% as soon as we can.

Our future totally plastic free.

Our dream is to run a 100% plastic free business, but this is very hard in the business of plants because all of our suppliers use plastic pots. We are working on a ‘Pass on Plastic’ scheme where we give you the option to make your order completely plastic free and we return the plastic pots to our suppliers.
