Also known as: Emerald Ripple Radiator Plants, Radiator Plant, Peperomia Rosso, Peperomia Caperata, Peperomia Caperata Rosso.

The Peperomia Caperata Rosso is a cute red succulent that is super easy to care for, making it a wise choice for first-time plant owners, just don’t overwater! It also does well in low light, or under electric lights like at home or in the office.

Pot size 9cm, plant size 18cm.

This plant is pet safe.

Please be aware this plant is VERY delicate and despite our best efforts minor damage may occur in transit.

Facts about your Peperomia Caperata Rosso

The Peperomia originates from South America and is part of a very large plant family called the Piperaceae. The pepper we use in cooking is a distant relative of the Peperomia, though we wouldn't recommend using your new house plant as seasoning.

Caring for your Peperomia Caperata Rosso

Light - Your Peperomia Caperata Rosso loves dappled light. It can tolerate shade and low lights conditions. Avoid direct sunlight.

Water - Be careful not to overwater your Peperomia Caperata Rosso, allow the top few inches of soil to dry out between waterings. As a succulent, water is stored in the leaves so this avoids the plant drying out.

Top Tip - Be sure your Peperomia doesn't get too cold, it does especially well at temperatures above 18 degrees centigrade.

All our plants come with a physical care card, you can also see more information about how to look after your plant and our handy infographic care guides on our plant care page.

Our Green Packaging.

When you buy a plant from Canopy Plants you can be sure we have done our very best to keep your purchase green. Our packaging is sustainably sourced and 100% recyclable or compostable.

All our paper and card is recycled and sustainably sourced.

It wouldn’t be right to be cutting down trees to sell plants!

We don’t use any single use plastic.

When we send your plant to you the pot and roots will be wrapped in a bag that looks like it is made of plastic - it is actually a totally compostable potato starch bag! You can put it in your council compost bin. They are also suitable for home composting.

For fragile items we use potato starch protective peanuts, just wash them down the sink!

Peat free.

We only use peat free compost at our studio. 60% to 70% of our plants are grown in peat free compost and we are pushing to get that to 100% as soon as we can.

Our future totally plastic free.

Our dream is to run a 100% plastic free business, but this is very hard in the business of plants because all of our suppliers use plastic pots. We are working on a ‘Pass on Plastic’ scheme where we give you the option to make your order completely plastic free and we return the plastic pots to our suppliers.
